In a surprising turn of events, popular television actress Priya Ahuja Rajda, known for her role as Rita reporter in the much-loved show Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma (TMKOC), has opened up about her disillusionment with the show`s makers. Priya has revealed that despite her dedication to the show, she was left in the dark for over eight months about her future with the series, leading her to make the difficult decision to officially resign.
Fans and viewers had been eagerly awaiting Priya`s return to the show, wondering if she had quit or if her character would make a comeback. Priya, however, clarified that she never officially left TMKOC, but the lack of communication from producer Asit Modi and the team left her feeling frustrated and neglected. In her own words, "It`s been eight months, and I`ve not heard from the makers or been informed whether or not I am part of the show. I have tried to contact Asit Modi and operations head Sohil Ramani inquiring about their plan, but they don`t bother to reply to my messages."
