Surbhi Jyoti, best known for her roles in TV shows such as "Qubool Hai", "Naagin 3" and now OTT drama "Gunaah", says it is a good time to be an actor as there is space for all kind of stories to be told. The 36-year-old actor is happy that the focus is on bringing relatable content whether it is in television, streamers or cinema for "every type of character, actor and age group". "You don`t have to look a certain way to be able to play lead roles and that`s how it should be because when you say that cinema is a reflection of society, then it better be a reflection of the society. It`s a good thing that new stories are leading to a more inclusive space by presenting realistic and relatable characters," Jyoti told PTI in an interview.
"Gunaah", streaming on Disney+ Hotstar, follows the story of Shiva, whose world is shattered after he is betrayed by loved ones.
