Mona Singh on her first brush as a host with crime-based reality show `Mauka-e-Vardaat`

Mona Singh
Mona Singh lives by the idea that one should try everything once in life. After exploring saas-bahu dramas, dance reality shows, movies and web shows, the actor is now gearing up to host a crime-based reality show. In the overcrowded world of CID, Savdhaan India and Crime Patrol, she says `Mauka-E-Vardaat` is different. “It studies how the crime was done rather than getting into the ‘why’ and ‘where’ [of things]. Additionally, every episode has a female protagonist who unravels the crime by reporting about it. It’s high time women stopped being scared of speaking up if they are suffering. Hopefully, a show that reaches every household, every day, will bring about some change in society,” says Singh.
