Mahhi loses her brother to Covid-19; pens a note expressing gratitude to Sonu

Mahhi Vij lost her brother to Covid-19 on June 1. The actress shared an emotional note on Monday, thanking Sonu Sood for helping the family. The actor-anchor wrote that Sood “helped arrange a hospital bed and gave her courage when she had no hope left.” Vij also thanked comedian Bharti Singh for sending funny videos to her brother in a bid to cheer him, and keeping a check on his health regularly.
Sonu had shared the update on Mahhi`s brother`s demise on June 1, writing, "A 25 years boy whom we were trying to save, lost his battle to covid today. All these days despite knowing that his survival chances of survival were minimal. l would speak to the doctor everyday with hope. Never had the guts to share the reality with his parents, who knew what was coming... When you lose someone, you wish you could have saved someone. [sic]"
