Amitabh Bachchan has often spoken about his love story with Jaya Bachchan and their eventual marriage. Their journey began on the sets of Hrishikesh Mukherjee`s film `Guddi`. They eventually got married on June 3, 1973 in a traditional Bengali wedding. Bachchan, who is currently hosting the ongoing season of `Kaun Banega Crorepati 15`, shared delightful anecdote about his special day.
During a recent episode of the popular game show on television. Amitabh Bachchan spoke about his Bengali wedding, particularly the customary `topor`. In Bengali Hindu weddings, the topor, a conical headgear, is traditionally worn by grooms. This headgear is gifted by the bride’s family, and Amitabh had his reservations about wearing it.
