Bestselling author and screenwriter Durjoy Datta joins mid-day.com as he takes a trip down memory lane on Children’s Day.
What are your most precious memories as a child?
I remember the evening strolls which were just another way of saying my sister and I would get ice candies. The times electricity would go out and it would mean play time would be extended by a few hours. I remember the weekends which meant cartoons, and since there weren`t many to watch we used to look forward to that. Also, cricket practice after school hours, the lunch breaks which were essentially keenly contested football matches.
