After making his digital debut with Apoorva Lakhia’s Crackdown (2020), Tenali Rama and Phulwa actor Ajay Singh Chaudhary has inked another web series deal. He features in the Randeep Hooda-starrer Inspector Avinash. Chaudhary essays a cop in Neerraj Pathak’s show, which is being shot in Lucknow. “In Crackdown, I played a terrorist and sported facial fuzz. Now, it’s a neat, short hairdo,” says Chaudhary, who adds that the OTT platform is proving to be a boon for TV actors in enabling them to take on different characters.
Talking of Hooda, he says he was glad to return to work after lockdown, and express himself as an artiste. He says getting back to work has come as a relief. Back in September, Randeep resumed work for the much-awaited film "Radhe", starring Salman Khan. He then moved on to "Unfair N Lovely", which he has wrapped up.
