Former Bigg Boss contestant Hina Khan has succeeded in sprinkling her magic on the television industry. After her eight-year long stint in the television soap, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, she became a household name as Akshara, her character's name, and carved a niche for herself. Hina wanted to break the typical 'bahu' image and did not want to get stereotyped in this industry. Therefore, she participated in reality shows – Khatron Ke Khiladi and Bigg Boss 10 to mould her image, and thereon, she became a fashion icon. She won the Most Stylish TV personality award right after Bigg Boss.
In an interaction with Hindustan Times, Hina revealed about the changes that happened in her life after Bigg Boss 10. The actress, who is reportedly being considered to play the iconic antagonist Komolika in Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2, speaks about her journey. "It changed the game for me. A lot of people thought of casting me in various things while I was still inside the Bigg Boss house. When I came out, people were actually waiting for me so they could offer me new projects. Two days after the show got over, I got a call that I've been chosen for the Most Stylish TV personality award and it was the first time I was on a red carpet with all the Bollywood stars. And then, things kept coming in. Also, it's not like Bigg Boss is over now, so I can relax. I am trying to live up to these expectations," says Hina Khan.
