Now that things are sorted between Kinjal and Anupamaa in Rajan and Deepa Shahi`s `Anupamaa`, the family gets together to plan a surprise birthday party for Samar. But Anupamaa really struggles to keep herself from wishing him at 12. Once he sleeps, she wishes him quietly, and it was not just her, Vanraj too wished him and Anupamaa got emotional on seeing this.
Meanwhile, Kavya tells Vanraj that they need to save money for their kids too, but Vanraj tells her that he has not thought about it and leaves. He tells the family that they should gift Samar a guitar and they loved his idea.
