Amid controversy, Indian Idol team elated as ‘Romance Special Ep’ gets good TRP

Amid the constant criticism being faced by the makers of the singing reality show, Indian Idol 12, the contestants found a reason for celebration. The contestants - Pawandeep Rajan, Arunita Kanjilal, Ashish Kulkarni, Shanmukhapriya, Sayli Kamble, Sawai Bhatt, Anjali Gaikwad, Nihal Tauro and Mohd Danish cut a cake as the `Romance Special` episode, featuring Kumar Sanu and Anuradha Paudwal, garnered a good TRP rating.
Indian Idol 12 romance special got 3.2 ratings. The episode, which aired last weekend, got the show to number 4 position, which means that it was one of the most-watched shows of the week.
