Adhvik Mahajan, who is best known for his character `Sohum` from Maahi - Ishq Da Kalma`, walked down the memory lane from his childhood on the occasion of Janmashtami. The actor, who is currently seen playing the role of Jogi in `Teri Meri Ikk Jindri,` opposite Amandeep Sidhu (Mahi) shared in a candid conversation with midday.com, how important the festival has been as a part of his childhood. Adhvik, born and bought up in Punjab, has fond memories of celebrating `Krishna Janma`.
Adhvik Mahajan who plays the role of Jogi in Zee TV’s Teri Meri Ikk Jindri reveals, “When it comes to Janmashtami, I have noticed the fervour and celebratory mood of people across India. Everyone is equally enthusiastic about celebrating Krishna’s birth and even I love celebrating the festival in my own special way. While I don’t usually follow all the customs, I do make it a point to visit the ISKON temple in Mumbai every year. I also love the Dahi-Handi celebrations that take place in the city around this time. In fact, I also remember the celebrations that I witnessed in Punjab when I was a kid."
