Actor Aamir Khan has filed a police complaint in a bid to take on people allegedly maligning his name on social media. Says a source close to the actor, “Over the last few days, a malicious and defamatory campaign has been carried out against the actor by people from certain quarters. Messages and misinformation about Aamir and his show, 'Satyamev Jayate', have been floating around on various platforms, including whatsapp, twitter and
facebook. We think that this is an attempt to hurt the religious sentiments of some people.”
