After spending decades in the film industry, Neetu Kapoor makes her TV debut as judge of the show, Dance Deewane Juniors. “I was excited when the makers approached me for this, as it is a show for kids, and I have special affection for them,” says Kapoor, who commenced working on it in March, around the release of her late husband, actor Rishi Kapoor’s last movie, Sharmaji Namkeen.
“It was quite ironic — where his journey ended, mine again started. Life can never stop. These shows and movies are helping me heal. So, I decided to do it for my happiness. Ranbir has taken charge [as] a male member in our family and I always ask him to sit on Rishi ji’s chair at the dining table. He is never going to leave me alone in my life. With my daughter, I have a friendly equation. I depend on both of them for emotional security,” she adds.
