The director of Aditi Rao Hydari`s film Sufiyum Sujatayum, Naranipuzha Shanavas, passed away late Wednesday evening. According to reports, Shanavas suffered a cardiogenic shock on the sets of his upcoming film Gandhirajan.

Aditi Rao Hydari shared a heartfelt tribute for the director on Instagram. Sharing a few photos, Aditi wrote, "As kind and sensitive as his stories... Rest in Peace Shanavas sir. I Hope your Sufi soul finds a place as beautiful as the one you created for us in Sufiyum Sujatayum. Gone too soon. My Prayers and condolences to the family."
