Ahead of RRR’s Oct 21 release in Japan, Jr NTR starts week-long promotions that include two premières and multiple fan events

SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali franchise had travelled to Japan, opening to much acclaim. Now, it’s the turn of RRR to make waves in the Land of the Rising Sun. The filmmaker’s magnum opus, which has been one of the biggest hits of the year, will première in Tokyo on October 21. Ahead of the release, Jr NTR — who plays tribal leader Komaram Bheem to Ram Charan’s Alluri Sitarama Raju in the period drama — has flown to the country to promote the film. Co-star Charan and Rajamouli are expected to join the actor today for the promotional activities.
