On superstar Nagarjuna Akkineni`s birthday, the makers of Dhanush`s next `D51` officially announced that the actor will be a part of the film. While rumours of nagarjuna being a part of the film was doing the rounds, the official announcement was made by the makers on the actor`s 64th birthday. The film is being directed by National Award-winning director Sekhar Kammula.
The makers who were looking for a star performer for this multi-starrer film, signed Nagarjuna Akkineni as they felt "Who better than our very own `King` to light up the screen with his charisma". They made the announcement today on the occasion of Nagarjuna’s birthday and fans of both the stars will be looking forward to see them sharing screen space. Sekhar Kammula, who is known for his exceptional films, wrote a unique subject to present Dhanush in a never-before-seen character.
