Almost eight years after Drishyam caught everyone’s attention with its howdunit narrative, Mohanlal is set to reprise his role as George Kutty, the prime suspect in the murder of the inspector general’s son. Picking up from where the first part ended, Drishyam 2 raises the stakes as the murder investigation returns to haunt Kutty’s family.
“George Kutty’s only objective is to protect his family. For me, he is a mystery because he suppresses his real emotions. That said, it was easy to portray the character because of the script and the situations it provided,” says the Malayalam superstar.
