The Lok Sabha Elections 2024 vote count is underway and by evening the winners will be announced. The results of the elections will also decide the fate of the trailer launch event of Prabhas` upcoming film `Kalki 2898 AD` directed by Nag Ashwin. The makers of the film have plans on a grand multi-city launch event for the trailer of the sci-fi drama. The film is set to hit the theatres on June 27, 2024.
According to reports, the trailer launch event of `Kalki 2898 AD` has been put on hold due to the impending election results in the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. While the makers plan on grand trailer launch events across the country, director Nag Ashwin and his team are unable to finalise a venue for the star-studded event, due to the election results. Based on the election results, the venues and other details for the event will be finalised. Reportedly, producer Ashwini Dutt`s political ties have only further complicated matters. Once the trailer launch event is finalised, the makers will set in motion other promotional activities and media interactions.
