Why are BTS ARMYs upset with Jimmy Fallon and Benny Blanco?

BTS ARMYs are upset because they feel the cake cutting was an attempt to ride on BTS` popularity, with no direct connection to the occasion. Some fans found it unnecessary and labelled the duo as "clout chasers"

Some fans weren`t happy when Benny Blanco and Jimmy Fallon decided to cut into a purple cake while promoting a cookbook. Even though Blanco has shown his love for the K-pop band BTS, including collaborating with them on a recent single, fans felt uneasy seeing him and Fallon cutting into a cake decorated with the BTS logo. Fallon, who`s famous for his interviews with BTS, joined Blanco in the video.
