Considering she has several shows and productions lined up for OTT platforms, including the Russo Brothers’ series Citadel, Priyanka Chopra Jonas wants people to “embrace streaming platforms” because they have not only allowed the audience to consume diverse stories, but also democratised the film industry.
Priyanka, who made her digital debut with the Netflix film, `The White Tiger`, believes that the web world has also made the actors and makers think outside “the Bollywood formula that there should be five songs and a fight sequence. Now people want to tell great, real stories,” PeeCee quipped while launching ZEE5 in the US. “You can watch a movie in the comfort of your home. Isn’t that amazing?” she asked.
