New Delhi: Hollywood actress Lucy Liu, who has slipped into the female avatar of Dr. Joan Watson for TV series 'Elementary', says she enjoys her stint as the detective for its non-stereotypical portrayal with subtleness and power at the core.

"I like the idea that she is not incredibly colourful and incredibly all laid out. I think that there is something very fragile and very strong about her at the same time, which I really enjoy playing," Liu said in a statement.
