Los Angeles: Actress Leslie Jones fell victim to racial slurs on Twitter and the "Ghostbusters" star says she was left in tears reading "awful", hate-filled tweets about her.

The reason behind the abuses apparently was Jones' role in the rebooted "Ghostbusters", a movie that received acrid remarks for featuring an all-female cast.
