The three ladies who accused the disgraced movie mogul Harvey Weinstein of sexual misconduct have voluntarily dismissed their claims against Weinstein. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the move by Louisette Geiss, Sarah Ann Thomas and Melissa Thompson comes in the wake of a settlement plan that was affirmed in January by a Delaware judge managing the bankruptcy of The Weinstein Company.
Geiss, Thomas and Thompson were the lead offended parties in an attempted class action against numerous people reportedly associated with the Weinstein scandal. A racketeering (dishonest and fraudulent business dealings) complaint focused on Weinstein as well as board individuals from his previous organisation as well as Miramax.
