Canadian rapper and multiple Grammy Award-winner, Drake has placed his first-ever bet on cricket. The rapper has his eyes set on the IL 2024 finale which will take place tonight in Chennai between KKR (Kolkata Knight Riders) and SRH (Sunrisers Hyderabad). Drake has placed his bet on the team co-owned by superstar Shah Rukh Khan.
On Saturday, Drake surprised all by sharing a screenshot on Instagram stories of him placing a bet on KKR in its match against SRH for IPL final today. He placed a bet worth $250,000 and its estimated payout is $425,000. The screenshot claimed that he had a 1.7 odds of winning the best. Drake wrote along with the screenshot, “Since @ovorajaju team is out, I am going with KKR for my first ever cricket bet (teary-eyed laughter emoji) Korbo Lorbo Jeetbo.”
