As soon as he wrapped up Aanand L Rai’s Atrangi Re, Dhanush jetted off to the U.S. for the shoot of The Gray Man. Snapshots of the actor from the set of Russo Brothers’ directorial venture are now doing the rounds. Dhanush has been shooting in California for the action thriller, co-starring Ryan Gosling and Chris Evans. Last December, the South star had announced that he would feature in the Netflix film. In 2018, Dhanush was seen in another international project, The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir.

"Atrangi Re" reunites Dhanush, Rai and Sharma after their 2013 critical hit "Raanjhanaa". "`Atrangi Re` wrapped. Thank you @aanandirai and Himanshu. Love you both," Dhanush captioned the photo. Also starring Sara Ali Khan, the film also features Akshay Kumar in a "special role".
