Washington: The release date of the upcoming superhero movie &lsquo;Batman vs. Superman&rsquo; has been delayed till May 6th, 2016, it has been revealed.

According to a magazine, the delay was caused after &lsquo;Pan&rsquo;, which is a new take on the Peter Pan story, took the superhero epic&rsquo;s original theatrical release date of July 17th, 2015.
The &lsquo;Man of Steel&rsquo; sequel will feature Henry Cavill as Superman, while Batman will be played by Ben Affleck.
