Zeenat Aman to be back on screen with Margaon: The Closed File

The veteran actress Zeenat Aman will play an Anglo-Indian in Kapil Kaustubh Sharma`s murder mystery Margaon: The Closed File.

Last seen in Ashutosh Gowariker`s Panipat (2019), Zeenat Aman will be back on screen in Margaon: The Closed File. Kapil Kaustubh Sharma`s murder mystery sees her play an Anglo-Indian. "It`s a complex and unconventional character. I have grown up on Agatha Christie`s stories. The film will be a tribute to her genre of work," says Sharma.
Last year, Aman was seen as Kasturba Gandhi in the English play, Dearest Bapu, Love Kasturba. The veteran actor is keen to take on assignments, which are a far cry from her Bollywood image. The veteran actress in an interview last year talked about her journey in the film industry and how fortunate she was to work with some wonderful directors. "As an actor, I have had an iconic journey and was fortunate enough to have worked with some really wonderful directors. I was delighted when Ashutosh Gowariker offered me the role of Sakina Begum," Zeenat Aman had said to IANS.
