When their films are lined up for release, stars resort to every gimmick in the book to attain publicity or mileage. Anything that attracts attention works — even their personal lives. All this while, Asin Thottumkal was fiercely guarded about her relationship with entrepreneur Rahul Sharma.

However, in the last few days, she has been quite vocal about it and even revealed plans of tying the knot by the end of this year. Her frankness is a good sign, but the fact that she chose to talk about it just days before the release of her film All Is Well evokes cynicism.
In 2013, when Asin had thrown a bash to celebrate her birthday with industry folk, there was a video message from Hollywood star Hugh Jackman. You do not need to be a rocket scientist to figure out the Asin-Wolverine star link. Jackman was brand ambassador and featured in the commercials of a mobile phone brand owned by her beau. At that time, Asin had maintained that it came as a huge surprise to her.
