After Atrangi Re, filmmaker Aanand L Rai is gearing up for films like Gorkha, Raksha Bandhan and An Action Hero. While the filmmaker has introduced commercial cinema to India`s small towns, his next few films will span across genres. Here are some of his upcoming movies.
Gorkha: Based on Major General Ian Cardozo, the movie is going to be an action-based biopic. This will be the first time that the director will be venturing into this genre. Starring Akshay Kumar, the Sanjay Puran Singh Chauhan directorial is set to kick off in the second half of 2022.
