On Wednesday, Nawazuddin Siddiqui celebrated his 47th birthday via video conferencing with wife Aaliya, son Yaani and daughter Shora. The actor is in his hometown Budhana in Uttar Pradesh, while his family is at their Kasara farmhouse on the outskirts of Mumbai. Nawaz shares his birthday with Yaani, who turned six. So the day calls for a double celebration for the Siddiquis. Aaliya had specially arranged for a cake for Yaani to cut at the stroke of midnight. Exactly a year ago, Nawaz and Aaliya’s marriage hit a rough patch after Aaliya alleged abuse and misconduct, and later sent Nawazuddin a divorce notice, but all is well now.
In case you missed it, Nawazuddin and Aaliya got married 11 years back, and the duo is blessed with two kids. For the unversed, Nawaz`s personal life has been under the scanner ever since his wife sent him a divorce notice in May. His estranged wife made startling revelations on social media what with allegations of abuse and misconduct.
