January 22nd will mark a historical event in the history of India—the day will witness the consecration ceremony of the Ram Mandir. The celebration in Ayodhya will commence on January 16 which is today leading up to the installation of the Ram Lalla idol in the temple.
Until now, invitations have been extended to luminaries such as Amitabh Bachchan, Jackie Shroff, Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt, Randeep Hooda, Lin Laishram, among others. A viral picture now circulating suggests that the renowned cricketer Virat Kohli and actress Anushka Sharma have also been invited to the consecration ceremony. In the caption, the handle mentioned that Kohli personally traveled to Mumbai after a match to receive the invitation and is now heading to Bangalore for national duties.
