Vidya Balan, Shobha and Ekta Kapoor to be part of Academy’s class of 2021

Vidya Balan and the mother-daughter producer duo, Shobha and Ekta Kapoor, are among the 395 new members invited to join the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, the governing body behind the Oscars. Vidya Balan, who was recently seen in Amazon Prime Video movie `Sherni`, joins the class of 2021, that also features Hollywood big names such as Janet Jackson, Robert Pattinson, H.E.R., Henry Golding and Eiza Gonzalez.
