What’s a Bollywood wedding without naach-gaana? On Tuesday, Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif’s pre-wedding celebrations began with an elaborate sangeet night at the Six Senses Fort Barwara Resort that saw Karan Johar and Farah Khan shake a leg together on the stage. The highlight of the evening was the special performance by folk singers who were flown down from Punjab for the groom, a Punjabi music aficionado. A source reveals, “From pop to rock, Vicky listens to a wide range of artistes, but Punjabi folk music has his heart. He was keen on having Gurdas Maan perform at the sangeet. The artiste, who flew down to Jaipur on Tuesday morning, performed a special set of his hit numbers, including Shagna di mehndi and Rabb ne baniyan jodiyan.” His love for the bridal couple was evident as he sang snatches of Teri jodi jeeve at the Jaipur airport itself, dedicating it to them.
