Kuala Lumpur: Karan Johar's long-delayed 'Shuddhi' is finally moving ahead with Varun Dhawan but father David says his son can never be a substitute to Salman Khan, who was earlier supposed to play the lead role.
"He can never replace Salman. He is a great actor and a very big star. Varun is like his younger brother and that's why he tweeted also. Salman loves him," David, who worked with the actor in "Partner", told PTI.
