Known for creating awareness about Covid-19 protocols through quirky posts, Mumbai Police urged citizens to remain indoors by taking potshots at Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani. On Wednesday, the two were booked for allegedly flouting safety guidelines. The rumoured couple was found driving around Bandra Bandstand, and could not give a valid reason to the cops for being out of their homes late evening.
A day later, the Mumbai Police used the titles of their films to reiterate the need to stay safe. “In the ongoing ‘War’ against the virus, going ‘Malang’ on the streets of Bandra cost dearly to two actors, who have been booked under Sections 188, 34 IPC by the Bandra police station. We request all Mumbaikars to avoid unnecessary ‘Heropanti’, which can compromise on safety against Covid-19,” the tweet read. Shroff featured in War (2019) and Heropanti (2014).
