Rani Mukerji has recently wrapped up the shoot of her upcoming cop drama, Mardaani 2. Sequel to the 2014 Mardaani, Mardaani 2 will once again see Rani in her bold, fearless cop avatar. The much-awaited edge-of-the-seat entertainer is all set to release this year. YRF recently announced the release date of the movie.

Mardaani 2 will hit theatres on December 13, 2019. Rani will reprise the role of the fierce and committed Superintendent of Police, Shivani Shivaji Roy in Mardaani 2. The actress's performance in the first film was widely appreciated and applauded. In the first film, Rani had taken on the kingpin of a child trafficking racket.
