It has emerged that Hrithik Roshan and his father, Rakesh Roshan have purchased a 3,500sq metre plot opposite their office that is located at Commerce Centre on Andheri Link Road.

A source says, “They have bought the plot as they wish to build a 26-floor residential tower opposite their office. The deal has been finalised but the paperwork is still going on.”

A real estate broker from Andheri says that now is a good time to invest in residential property. “It’s not a great time for commercial premises but things may improve after the new government assumes office in the Centre.

Right now, a residential plot in Andheri Link road could cost anywhere between Rs 50 to 60 crore,” he says.

Rakesh Roshan was unavailable for comment.
