Kareena Kapoor Khan announced that her film The Buckingham Murders will be premiering at the 67th BFI London Film Festival in October 2023

Kareena Kapoor Khan is turning co-producer on her upcoming film, The Buckingham Murders. Directed by Hansal Mehta, it marks the actress` return to the silver screen after Laal Singh Chaddha in 2022. The thriller was the first film she shot after welcoming her second son, Jeh Ali Khan. Today, Kareena confirmed the title of the film and announced its premiere at the 67th BFI London Film Festival.
Sharing the announcement, Kareena wrote, "`The Buckingham Murders’ a journey that @hansalmehta, @ektarkapoor and I took is premiering at the 67th BFI London Film Festival. It is an atmospheric thriller, that explores themes of loss, closure and the immigrant experience. What makes this moment even more special is that it’s one of the three films from India that made it to the festival! If you happen to be in the UK, we hope you can watch it, it`s being shown at the Curzon Mayfair on 14th and 15th October."
