Takht: Karan Johar announces the release date of his magnum opus

Takht, directed by Karan Johar and starring Anil Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar, and Janhvi Kapoor, finally has a release date. Want to know when it'll come out?

Ever since Karan Johar has announced his magnum opus, Takht, there has been tremendous excitement amongst fans and critics to see how will he conceive and project a period drama, a trajectory so far reserved for filmmakers like Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Ashutosh Gowariker. And given Johar's penchant for working with big stars, he assembles the largest cast in his career for this period drama.
Starring Anil Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar, and Janhvi Kapoor, the film now finally has a release date. Taking to his Twitter account, Johar announced the principal photography will commence from March and the film will release on December 24, 2021.
