He walked into the year with two big films, 83 and Looop Lapeta, under his belt. Three months on, Tahir Raj Bhasin has more reason to cheer. The actor has bagged Bulbul Tarang opposite Sonakshi Sinha and the series, Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein, with Shweta Tripathi Sharma. Highlighting that the Netflix offerings belong to different genres, he says, “While Bulbul Tarang is an all-out romantic drama with a social message woven in, Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein is a suspense thriller. Both are entertaining stories with power-packed parts.” The film will mark his first collaboration with Shree Narayan Singh, who has previously helmed Toilet: Ek Prem Katha (2017) and Batti Gul Meter Chalu (2018).
