Sukhwinder Singh apparently refused to sing a song because he didn’t like the lyrics. Zeishan Quadri who was the writer of 'Gangs of Wasseypur' and 'Quadri' also acted in 'Gangs of Wasseypur-2' is now directing a film.

The film is based on a real-life incident. It is about six friends who are young and who turn gangsters for money. The film is based in Meerut. Apparently the director Zeishan wanted Sukhwinder Singh to sing a song.

The song had a line which says, ‘babaji ka ghanta’ to which Sukhwinder had objections. When the singer heard the song he told the director that he will sing the song if he changes the lyrics of the song.

When we spoke to the director Zeishan Quadri he said, “Yes we had approached Sukhwinder Singh to sing the song babaji ka ghanta. He wanted us to change the lyrics of the song. I am actually very busy with my film so I have asked my BGM guy to take care of things. Now we have singed Divya Kumar for the song. Divya just sang Jee Karda recently in Badlapur.”

Sukhwinder remained unavailable for the comment.
