Zoya Akhtar-directed The Archies is the talk of the town for the right reasons. Headlined by Suhana Khan, Agastya Nanda, Khushi Kapoor, Dot, Mihir Ahuja, Vedang Raina and Yuvraj Menda, it is based on the popular Archie comics. The trailer of the musical released on Thursday and received a thumbs-up from the industry and audience.
The iconic Archie comics have been an important part of childhood. Over the years, filmmakers have adapted the story and created films using a similar plotline. Karan Johar also confessed in his book, An Unsuitable Boy, that he was inspired by Archie to make Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.
