Sobhita reveals 'south Indianness of Deepika in Om Shanti Om' comforted her

Sobhita Dhulipala is among the most popular and top-ranked actresses in Indian cinema. Right from South films to Hindi-language cinema and OTT, she has experimented and explored various formats and has excelled. Talking about the film fraternity, Sobhita said there`s a `colonial hangover` when it comes to beauty standards in the industry.
In an interview with The Quint, Sobhita shared, "When I was auditioning for ads, the idea of beauty that existed which was a bit narrow-minded. And, I was so young that I was not thinking about whether they were right or wrong. But, I was trying to find ways to mould myself so as to find work."
