According to Sunny Kaushal, Shiddat could well be a lesson on love for the millennials. The actor is aware that the intense love story, featuring Radhika Madan and him, may be incongruous with the modern dating culture that is dominated by right-swipes, break-ups and ghosting. “We live in a frivolous world. When this pure love story came my way, I wanted to do it. We need such a film because it bridges that gap [between the evolving ideas of love across generations],” says the actor, sounding like an old-world romantic.
