Sources say Bhansali’s actor-niece Sharmin Segal, who stars in Heeramandi, to tie the knot in Italy by the year-end

This year promises to be special for Sharmin Segal. The actor, who made her Bollywood debut with Malaal (2019), will soon foray into digital entertainment with filmmaker-uncle Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ambitious web series, Heeramandi. On the personal front, there is reason to cheer as well. Sources tell us that Sharmin, daughter of editor Bela Segal, is set to tie the knot by the year-end.
We hear Sharmin got engaged to a diamond merchant earlier this year. “The engagement took place in Ahmedabad. It is an arranged marriage. The couple will have a destination wedding in Italy by the end of 2023,” says a source. The shaadi will be a grand affair, and preparations are on in full swing.
