SC to hear plea against showing 'Grand Masti' on TV today

<p>The Supreme Court will on Friday hear a plea against world television premier of Bollywood flick 'Grand Masti', an adult comedy featuring Riteish Deshmukh, Vivek Oberoi and Aftab Shivdasani.</p>

New Delhi: The Supreme Court will on Friday hear a plea against world television premier of Bollywood flick 'Grand Masti', an adult comedy featuring Riteish Deshmukh, Vivek Oberoi and Aftab Shivdasani.
A bench compising Chief Justice T S Thakur and Justice U U Lalit allowed urgent hearing when the lawyer representing Edara Gopi Chand said the plea would be infructuous if the film, having adult contents, is shown on television channels.
