Arjun Kapoor in `Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar`
In one of the sequences in `Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar`, Arjun Kapoor is seen cross-dressing. His look was inspired by the Chholiya dancers of Uttarakhand in Dibakar Banerjee’s directorial venture. Makeup artist Sanah Kewal informs, “I had a chat with Dibakar who agreed that it would look great on him. We did a trial and Arjun was both happy and stunned at how he looked. It’s so important to have an actor who allows you the freedom to experiment.”
Co-star Parineeti Chopra was mighty impressed that Kapoor, who is 6 foot tall and broad-shouldered, could carry off the drag scene with aplomb.
