A great opening scene often helps in building the graph of the protagonist, especially in an action film. Following Salman Khan’s entry scene in Ek Tha Tiger (2012), the makers upped the ante with the sequel, Tiger Zinda Hai (2017). Over six years since then, the makers are said to have gone a few notches higher with Tiger 3. Salman’s 10-minute action-packed entry in the Diwali offering will “blow audience’s minds,” promises director Maneesh Sharma. Considering that the superstar has given cinegoers whistle-worthy moments over the years, Maneesh reveals that they had to create something unique for Tiger’s third outing, co-starring Katrina Kaif as Zoya and Emraan Hashmi as the antagonist Aatish. “Some of our best action, stunts, grips and effects people came together to craft a 10-minute block that does justice to Tiger’s introductory sequence, an entry that befits the super spy. This intro sequence is one of the highlights of the movie, which includes an exciting action sequence that reminds Bhai’s fans exactly how cool Tiger is,” says the director.
