Rohit Shetty discusses ‘Cirkus’ failure, says ‘There is no point shying away'

Rohit Shetty’s film Cirkus was released on the occasion of Christmas 2022. The film had an ensemble cast including Ranveer Singh, Jacqueline Fernandez, Pooja Hegde, Varun Sharma, Tiku Talsania, Johnny Lever, Sanjay Mishra and Vrajesh Hirjee, among others. To everyone’s surprise, the film bombed at the box office and was labelled a flop. Now in a recent interview, the action film director openly talked about the failure of his movie and didn’t hesitate in taking the ownership of film’s poor performance at the box office. When asked about Cirkus` failure during the interview, Shetty stated that he accepts and owns both his successes and failures.
