Akshay Kumar and Rohit Shetty announced their maiden collaboration ‘Sooryavanshi’ in the coolest way possible. In the end credits of ‘Simmba’, the actor made an appearance as the eponymous cop and it was clear a cop universe was on the verge of being created for blockbuster results. This actioner was slated to release on March 25, 2020, but the Coronavirus pandemic played spoilsport.
The director has now, after a long wait, announced the release date of this film. Sharing a picture with the Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray and thanking him to allow cinemas to reopen from October 22 in the state, he stated his directorial will release on the occasion of Diwali.
